चयन प्रक्रिया :

I. अनुसंधान वैज्ञानिक :

A. सभी वैध आवेदकों को लिखित परीक्षा के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। लिखित परीक्षा केंद्र केवल तिरुवनंतपुरम में होगा।

B. लिखित परीक्षा के लिए प्रश्न पत्र पैटर्न

भाग ‘ए’ (वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार) – क्षेत्र/अनुशासन विशिष्ट भाग – 1 अंक के 80 बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न (एमसीक्यू) शामिल हैं (+1 और       -1/3 अंकन का पैटर्न) – 90 मिनट की अवधि।

भाग ‘बी’ (वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार) – योग्यता/क्षमता परीक्षण – अधिकतम 15 बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न (एमसीक्यू) होते हैं, कुल 20 अंक (कोई नकारात्मक अंक नहीं) – 30 मिनट की अवधि [प्रश्न संख्यात्मक तर्क, तार्किक तर्क, आरेख पर आधारित होंगे तर्क, सार तर्क और निगमनात्मक तर्क]।

C.  साक्षात्कार: लिखित परीक्षा में प्रदर्शन के आधार पर, उम्मीदवारों को 1:5 के अनुपात में साक्षात्कार के लिए शॉर्टलिस्ट किया जाएगा।

D. योग्यता मानदंड: लिखित परीक्षा  – भाग ‘ए’ और ‘बी’ प्रत्येक में 50%, साक्षात्कार – 50 अंक (100 में से), कुल अंक – 60%

E. पैनल निर्माण में वेटेज – अंतिम पैनल बनाने के लिए, लिखित परीक्षा के अंकों को 50% वेटेज और साक्षात्कार के अंकों को 50% वेटेज दिया जाएगा।

लिखित परीक्षा के लिए बुलाए गए अभ्यर्थियों के पास प्रश्नों का उत्तर हिंदी में भी देने का विकल्प होगा। कृपया ध्यान दें कि ऊपर निर्धारित योग्यता न्यूनतम आवश्यकता है और यह स्वचालित रूप से उम्मीदवारों को लिखित परीक्षा के लिए पात्र नहीं बनाती है।

II. प्रोजेक्ट एसोसिएट- I : ऑनलाइन आवेदन केआधारयदि अभ्यर्थियों को लिखित परीक्षा के लिए बुलाया जाता है, तो उनके पास प्रश्नों का उत्तर हिंदी में भी देने का विकल्प होगा। यदि प्रारंभिक स्क्रीनिंग के लिए लिखित परीक्षा का चयन किया जाता है, तो लिखित परीक्षा का स्कोर अंतिम चयन प्रक्रिया में प्रतिबिंबित नहीं होगा। अंतिम चयन केवल साक्षात्कार में उम्मीदवारों के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर होगा । कृपया ध्यान दें कि ऊपर निर्धारित योग्यता न्यूनतम आवश्यकता है और यह स्वचालित रूप से उम्मीदवारों को लिखित परीक्षा/साक्षात्कार के लिए पात्र नहीं बनाती है।

Selection Process :

I. Research Scientist:

A. All valid applicants will be called for written examination. The written examination center will be in Thiruvananthapuram only.

B. Question paper pattern for written examination

Part ‘A’ (Objective Type) – Area/Discipline Specific Part – Consisting of 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each (+1 and -1/3 pattern of marking) – 90 minutes duration.

Part ‘B’ (Objective Type) – Aptitude/Ability Test – Consists of maximum 15 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), total 20 marks (No Negative Marks) – 30 minutes duration [Questions will be based on Numerical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Diagram logic, abstract logic and deductive logic].

C. Interview: Based on performance in the written examination, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5.

D. Eligibility Criteria: Written Test – Part ‘A’ & ‘B’ 50% each, Interview – 50 marks (out of 100), Total marks – 60%

E. Weightage in panel formation – For final panel formation, 50% weightage will be given to written examination marks and 50% weightage will be given to interview marks.

Candidates called for written examination will have the option to answer the questions in Hindi also. Please note that the qualification prescribed above is the minimum requirement and does not automatically make the candidates eligible for the written examination.

II. Project Associate-I: Based on Online ApplicationIf candidates are called for written examination, they will have the option to answer the questions in Hindi also. If written examination is selected for preliminary screening, the score of written examination will not be reflected in the final selection process. Final selection will be based only on the performance of the candidates in the interview. Please note that the qualification prescribed above is the minimum requirement and does not automatically make the candidates eligible for the written test/interview.
